Got sick. Won't be back. Sushi in Oklahoma City? Was I on drugs?

Average. Nothing out of the ordinary that's for sure, but its ok for a change.

I've been to tons of hibachi places and this place is the best. It's not better by leagues and bounds, but it is very consistent, which is the downfall of most hibachi places. The sushi was good, but not great. However, I wouldn't go here if sushi was my primary motivation. There is better sushi elsewhere. I ordered the filet twice and the shrimp once. The food is more flavorful than your average hibachi place, even without the dipping sauces. Something of note is that the fried rice has a distinct curry flavor, which I love! I sort of half-heartedly agreed to go to this place, being so used to other overpriced hibachi places. It is overpriced just like the others, but the consistency and flavor more than makes up for it. My only real complaint is that they are pretty skimpy on the vegetables. Both times I went there were virtually no onions, which is ridiculous since onions are cheap. Also of note, the child portion was HUGE when we ordered it. For $5.95 or whatever they get a large portion. Maybe it was a fluke, but still impressive!

Most of my evenings at Musashi's have been for their Wednesday night special. I cannot never get it straight, you either buy a Robata (kabob) and get a roll of equal or lesser value for free or visa versa. I have also enjoyed a few nights around the hibachi tables for celebrations with friends. The food and service is always good, nothing spectacular, however, during happy hour and the Wednesdays on Western special is a great deal. I can usually get out of there with a beer for under $12. Of course, I enjoy sitting on the patio with friends. Perhaps I need to restart Wednesdays on Western again.

Eh I can't really go any higher than three here. I frequent a place in Las Vegas with the same name and it is much much better. Here is a quick list of both positves and negative here with a lite comparison to the Musashi's in Vegas. Negatives - 1.They don't hand make their sauces here - Place in Vegas does it right in front of you. 2. Wasn't a fan of the fried rice here. I personally think it might be the worst i have ever had. 3. Wasn't a fan of the steak either. Seemed to lack flavor 4. Price comparison to Vegas- This place chargers more and on the overall you get less. (Though i only go during happy hour in Vegas) Positives. 1. Staff was really friendly 2. I enjoyed both the chicken and the shrimp 3. Also enjoyed the veggies. 4. Green Tea Ice Cream comes with the meal for 2. On the overall this place can fool those who have never had this style else where but for those who have been else where this place might not quite cut it. I doubt I will go back. Not because it was bad. More so that just didn't quite make the cut on what i would expect for a place like this when you spend the type of money you spend here.

In my rankings, a 3 means I wouldn't go back because it wasn't good. I really would love to give this place a 3.5...I wouldn't go back because it wasn't worth the price. I've been to equally good hibachi and sushi places in the OKC metro that are WAY cheaper than here. While the service and food were tasty (hence the 4 stars), I just prefer not paying simply for the "experience". I will say, I would go back to try the happy hour special...buy one robata (i.e. meat skewer), get a sushi roll of equal price for free.

It's hibachi. It's good. But most of all, it's a great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner with good friends, which was exactly what we did last night. We were seated right on time and taken care of quickly by our server. Our chef did a nice job and all the food was prepared to our specifications. I had what I always get, the Geisha, NY Strip and shrimp. I love the salad, but our server didn't bring it until we were almost finished with our meal. Not a big deal, just a little odd. I wouldn't say it was the best meal I've had in this style, but there was nothing I could specifically point to that could have made it better. We stayed and visited for a long time, but once our sever had the credit card slips, he was outta there. We were never checked on again and our waters ran dry, but the flip side was they never made us feel like they wanted us to get out of there, so I really didn't mind. I've also always loved their patio, Wednesday night specials, and just people watching on one of my favorite drags in OKC. I feel like Musashi's is still a gem... It maybe just needs a good polish, as is often the case with places that have been around for this long.

Went for the first time on mine and a friends birthday with a group of about 12 and it was WOW. This place is amazing the prices are great the servers are so friendly and the hibachi cook was amazing. They gave us a cheesecake with a candle on it and sang happy birthday to us and the took a group picture, I was thinking that they were going to post it on their site or on some books but they gave us each a post card that said happy birthday. I have gone to other hibachi grills and never one like this one so reasonable in price and delicious in food.

I wavered between three and four stars, so let's say it's 3 1/2 stars in my book. Going to Musashis for the first time, we made reservations a few days in advance, showed up and were seated at a hibachi with another couple. Before arriving my husband informed me that this is considered, by many, to be the best hibachi grill in town, so expectations were high. The menu is certainly the most impressive in town, with crab and seafood selections you don't see offered at other hibachi grills in town. After perusing all the options on the menu, we settled on the Family-Style Dinner for Two which came with a choice of soup or salad, six shrimp off the grill, fried rice, veggies, chicken, steak and green ice cream for dessert. The seasonings were good and the chef entertaining. Green ice cream isn't a favorite..it's grainy and just sweet...but the chocolate sauce added a little something. We had our soup and water ages before our wine arrived, perhaps it was just busier than normal that evening. Is it THE best Japanese hibachi grill in town? I have to say that it's not any better than some of the other places in town outside of the increased selections. Will I go back? Absolutely, but Shogun still remains a favorite for me.

My favorite Japanese steakhouse! Great hibachi grill, the sushi is very good and they cook your steak exactly how you order it. It caters both to casual diners or for special occasions, like all the prom kids I saw last weekend. They even have private rooms for large groups.

This place will nickel and dime you on everything. The food is slightly above average. The service is decent. But the price is outrageous. Way over priced for food. The tuna did not have a good color. The koby steak wasn't that great. The rolls did not have a distinct flavor. I could not tell what I as eating. The sushi wasn't that fresh. Paid a lot of money. Not worth what I paid for. I m not picky or difficult, but I know my food and I expect to get what I paid for.

Let me preface this entire review by saying that I pretty much think all hibachi restaurants taste the same. With that being said, enjoy! I had been wanting hibachi for awhile and after driving my Musashi's one too many times, I decided to give it a shot. The Missus and I got up there on a Friday night (had a reservation) and were seated within 5 minutes at one of their hibachi stoves. The people at our table were all pretty amicable. The chef at the table was also a pretty relaxed fella with a sense of humor. It was a little loud, but I expected as much on a Friday night. The place, overall, looks nice with nothing over the top with regards to decor. The place flows together nicely. Okay, I think that's enough about the atmosphere. Don't you? The food met, but did not surpass, my expectations. And that's the only real issue, or maybe non-issue, I have with hibachi places...they all have the same taste, in my humble opinion. I've been to hibachi grills in California, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma...and I've never really been like, "Woah, that was the best hibachi I've ever had." This isn't a knock on Musashi's, because it was good, but to me, it was good just like all the others were. As for the prices...well, it's not cheap, but it's not outrageous either. After all was said and done, I dropped a little over $50 for 2 meals + some sake. Overall, I enjoyed my food and the service was excellent. When I'm in the mood for hibachi, this will be my go-to place.

Excellent! Dining room is new and the decor up to date, very clean and inviting. The food is excellent, although a bit on the pricey, even compared to other Japanese Steakhouses in town. We will be back!

We loved it here! The food & service were great!! Reasonably priced for a nice dinner out! If you are planning to go definitely make reservations! Also make sure you ask for a grill table!!

Absolutely fabulous from the showmanship on the hibachi grill to the service and to the food taste and quality. Our server, Shino, was attentive, pleasant and highly efficient. Definitely will be coming back!

We came here for my birthday dinner because I love the hibachi stuff. The navigator took us through a tiny back road to get there, but we finally got there. If you were not expecting it to be where it is you wouldn't find it. So it's a secret little place if you don't know where to look but once you get there it is amazing. You walk up and the place is outside just really nice to look at and we loved the statues in front. We had gotten there a little early for our reservations but they got us in. The inside decor is just really lovely relaxing and fit the genre completely. We were greeted and and asked what we wanted to drink and eat appetizer wise. My husband and I got to visit and talk while we drank hot tea and had our miso soup which was some of the best miso soup I've had in town. They then took our orders and my only complaint was that they forgot my sushi that I ordered and brought it late. That's the only reason I might not give them 5 stars. Other than that the whole experience was just amazing. The show was entertaining the chef was just really cool and I've been to several of these type of a bocce grill in Texas where I just fell in love with the style of serving but this one compared pretty well with those and kept me entertained. The food quality was perfect. We decided to do the family option for 2 and got several varieties of meats. They cooked it just perfectly as my husband likes his steak well done and I like mine medium rare. Well at the end we also with the family one we got the green tea ice cream. The real surprise though which just would make me give them 5 stars to make up for the sushi being forgotten... and so I may do that anyway is that they brought my out a piece of birthday cake. They'd asked at the beginning if there's any event, so we just mentioned that if we were here for my birthday. I just thought it was for courtesy and small talk, but they actually bought a little cake with a candle and it was just cute. It was awesome and made my night. I would totally recommend this place to anyone It is a bit pricey but it's worth it. The family option for 2 is the best deal because you get all the different meats instead of haveing to pick just one and that was like $50 for the two of us so really a good deal.

Musashi's is great place for any occasion! I just recently went there for a birthday dinner and it was a cool experience. Our waitress was very nice. The chef was excellent! He was very funny while he was cooking. The food was delicious! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food and service!

My husband and I like to sit in the bar area if it's just the two of us. This restaurant is great for that. We can order any of the food that the hibachi has to offer and the sushi is delicious too. I've gone to a couple parties here and they're always a great time. The chefs are always fun and get the crowd involved. The two bartenders we have had were so great. They are always on top of our orders. We used to be sushi newbies but have graduated into amazing rolls at this place. Always get edamame to start and a side of fried rice for a delicious addition to your meal.

Really good salmon entree! It isn't doused with sauces and has a nice crisp from the flat grill.

Great hibachi!!! Always good for groups I mostly come for special occasions birthdays, etc.. They also have great sushi rolls I prefer the dragon roll myself. Good atmosphere and you can pretty much feel comfortable in casual or dress attire.

I'd give this place no stars if I could. This place sucks in comparison to other hibachi grills. They give you less food that has no taste. You don't get the shrimp appetizer like the other hibachi grills. You have to pay extra for salad and soup ( also included with your meal at other grills), and the only give you exactly 6 shrimp if you order a meal that includes shrimp. And o yeah no yum yum sauce. Go here if you want to feel like you're eating in a fancy smancy place to boost your yuppie ego. Don't go here if you want a good meal. Trust me, I love Japanese hibachi grills. But this place Sucks.

Had a great birthday here. The customer service for our visit was truly great. Our waitress had a great personality and was on top of her stuff. We had red canyon, avocado roll, and miso soup to start. All were great. Then we had a variety of drinks my friend enjoyed the blue lava and I was really found of I think it's called hawana sake... It's in a small pink bottle. Super good. The waitress poured our bottles to our little cups for refills. For dinner we all had different dishes. Most of us eating a steak. It was the regular show you get at the Japanese steak house with fire, onion on fire, fancy juggling of shah and then tossing his tools around the table. All entertaining. I personally ordered the Kobe beef expecting a very tender steak but ill have to say the Kobe wasn't as flavored or tender as other Kobe I've enjoyed and actually id rate it about a 6 on 1-10. After our dinner the waitress helped us chose more drinks to try and brought us some birthday cake which was very luxurious and good :) and took a picture of us and printed for us to keep as memory. Very nice. I enjoyed my dinner experience overall and would come back. Highly recommend this place for birthdays.

Been here so many times for birthday parties and I think it's a bit overrated. It is great for groups and it's fun for kids to watch. The food is however bland and lacking to my taste buds. You are paying for the show.

Chicken Robata& Cajun Roll - Chicken robata(grilled chicken kabob) is free on Wednesday during happy hour 2-6 pm with a purchase of a sushi roll. I chose 1 of my favorites, the cajun roll. My total meal a shocking $5.47.

We came here for lunch time. Not busy as I thought it should be. We ordered family special for 2. The food was average, also the service. But it's kind of pricey for lunch special (whatever they said). I don't think it's worth it for the price. I expected more with service and food for these prices. The hibachi chef was nice. The waiter asked if it was ok if they just cooked our food from the kitchen, but we said no since these prices should include some entertainment. To top things off, we were supposed to get green tea ice cream but all we got was a fat check. Dinner prices were even higher :-(

This is a place I've been to many times, and I feel like it offers a unique versatility. The Hibachi table is great for big parties and events, they take a picture and put it in a card for birthdays, and it's fun to watch the Hibachi chef prepare the food. The bar is nice for one or two people, they have a few small booths where you can have drinks and dinner. The patio is wonderful, they have spots under the overhang or in the sun, they just recently partially enclosed it with glass panels that help block the wind. They have fish, steak and chicken entrees that come with rice and veggies, but they also have a delicious sushi menu. Western Concepts owns both Sushi Neko and Musashi's (along with Will's Lobby Cafe & Bar), so I have found the sushi to be the same caliber is Neko--which is one of our favorite sushi spots. Sometimes when Neko is too crowded, we can go across the street and have better luck. My husband and I had a wonderful patio lunch yesterday, I ordered the salmon lunch special while he got the steak. Both of us really enjoyed our food along with the beautiful weather--and they also take Keep It Local cards for a discount on the final check!

Musashi's troubles me. I want to love it, and in part I do, but then I'm also left with a bad taste in my mouth (not literally) about it. Here's why: Why let our party of 12 make an 8:00 pm reservation, but not honor it? We weren't seated until 8:45 pm. I can totally understand that the people before us took their time after they were finished eating, but wow, 45 minute wait for a reserved table. Strike one. So, once we were (finally) seated our server, note the singularity of that noun, came around to take orders. Fifteen minutes later we had our salads, but not the drinks we ordered. When someone asked about the drinks he responded, "I can only do one thing at a time." Nope, no sir, you will not get lippy with the customer. That is so far outside the scope of okay. If you are behind or struggling, then ask for help, don't just give bad service because you know you can grat the table and it won't matter at the end of the night how awful you were. Strike two. 10 minutes later he finds time, and/or the ability, to get our drinks, which had been seen sitting on a tray at the bar waiting for him to come get them, and upon delivery one of our party mentioned that someone hadn't gotten their salad, so with only half of the drinks passed out he walks out to get the salad. I mean seriously? Our Hibatchi chef/cook/artist was fantastic, he was polite, understood our table and the fact that we welcomed egg being tossed at our mouths but didn't need a flaming volcano to entertain us, and did a lovely job. Kudos good sir. The food, was okay. My scallops only had a slight sear and on only one side, which is odd, and my buddy's steak was fatty and gristly, blegh, but I do love the peruvian purple potatoes. It wasn't horrendous, but it wasn't fabulous either. The ambiance, decor and location are all top notch, bravo to the owners for that, and the drinks were well mixed, but... This is a mixed bag for me, I would go back, but my buddy is adamant that he would rather drive all the way to Shoguns rather than walk the block and a half to Musashi's the next time we crave teppenyaki.

What do you want here? It's a hibachi place and does all the hibachi things you want. It's just fine. Their drinks are not great, but I think that's a hibachi place rule. Somewhere it's written they all have to be super sweet and brightly colored. It's always a fun night out for a birthday or a group - you know exactly what you're getting into, so it's perfectly fine. The design makes this one better than most, but you're still getting onions stacked like a smoking volcano - which is just fine.

This is my favorite restaurant to celebrate family birthdays. It is a little pricey, so we only go on special occasions. Love the sushi and the grill items. Reservations suggested.

Musashi's is just a home run. The only reason for 4 stars is a couple next to us got a meal that smoked up the place. How the fire alarms didn't go off amazes me. Our waiter was awesome. He really helped us decide our selections. We started with the Kobe steak sliders. Delish! I got the Crazy Cajun. It was perfect. The desert ... green tea ice cream was divine. Loved it.

Egg roll joke, check. Flaming onion volcano, check. Spatula and knife flair tricks, check. Its the regular birthday destination place, but with great sushi! Not much I can say about this place that is different from the usual hibachi grill other than it has a more modern decor and a patio. The food here typical and needs the soy sauce to liven it up. The sushi is good, but not the best I have had. However, the service is always top notch!

We made reservations for 12 people on a Friday night in December, and we weren't seated until almost 90 minutes after our reservation. It was no huge worry as we were able to enjoy the bar somewhat, they were very busy as well, but they tried to keep our drinks filled as much as they could. Once we seated, they made up for the wait with multiple free appetizers, enough for each end of the table. We ordered the lobster shooters for an appetizer as well, they are amazing! Chef was enjoyable and dinner was great. They also honored multiple free dessert promos we presented with our Yelp/FourSquare checkins. Great experience.

This place is extremely hit or miss. I have gotten very fresh sushi that tasted wonderful before and very bad food before also. The service is also the same way, but usually good. However, I went with a group of friends last time and we all ordered different rolls which none of our sashimi, nigiri, or maki tasted that good and my gf's red canyon came out rubbery and cold. I asked for a side off avocado and the server brought out a rotten brown avocado that we all tried and found inedible. The server also spilled water on me when refilling my drink and didn't even apologize. No one complained because we all still enjoy the atmosphere here, but the service and food were not as good as it should have been for the price of our meals. I probably will return after awhile with my puppy since they have a nice patio area, but only for drinks. They have great cocktails.

  • Carson C.

I like this place; the atmosphere is really cool especially if you are with a bunch of people. My fiance and I usually split one of the dishes that they cook in front of you and we get a few sushi rolls. The sushi is OK and the cooked food is really good.

shogun is safe Lets begin with the level of pretentiousness, just because you have to take off your cargo shorts and flip flop does not mean that you are a 3 star Michelin restaurant. I asked about the Japanese whiskey stating that I did not like the majority of them. I was assured that this was the BEST. Perhaps my palate is not ready for such levels of sublime spirits as it sat there after 1 drink till it was diluted until it was tossed into is watery grave. Quick note to servers if you insist that a patron try a particular item after they have express an aversion to it. MAKE SURE they at least take more than 1 drink. After the rest of the party had arrived we ordered some sushi and appetizers. note I said that we ordered as far as receiving them I am still waiting for the appetizer that I ordered as the other member of the group is still waiting on his sushi. He received a cream cheese mess that was not even close to the sushi that he ordered which was above the what I got which was NOTHING. About this time I ordered another drink as to when that came to the table... I ordered the Kobe steak, mistakenly I did not ask that after it was cooked that I would like it hot. it was not warm it was COLD. I just cant express how mediocre the food was. service will come and go and I understand the kitchen has off nights. However I doubt that I happened to come on the night where EVERY aspect was terrible. If you are in the mood to go to a Shogun.....GO TO SHOGUN I will think less of you if you rate this place above 3 stars. I think my drink just showed up

Musashi's is a fun and special place to eat lunch or dinner when sitting at the Hibachi grill. I used to come here every year for my birthday when I was a carnivore because I loved their filet and their goma chicken. Now that I am a vegetarian, it is a little more difficult to hand over a 4-star review because the only thing you get with the vegetarian delight is vegetables, rice and soup or salad and it is still pretty expensive. The fried rice is amazing and I love their ginger salad dressing, but half a plate of vegetables, however delicious they may be, is just not that filling. Musashi's is definitely best for meat-eaters but it is still a very fun experience. The Hibachi chefs do some pretty impressive tricks and it is fun to be able to engage in conversation and watch the Hibachi show at the same time. The one thing I don't like about Musashi's is having to sit at the table with random people if you don't have enough people in your party. This is still a place that should be experienced. Finish a meal with their delicious green tea ice cream and you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful dining experience here on Sunday. It was to celebrate my grandson's 14th birthday. Our chef, Alex was wonderful. He entertained us all with his expertise on the grill and juggling skills. Our food was cooked to perfection and the show had all of us mesmerized.

This review is for the SUSHI and not the hibachi tables. I have to go a couple more times to say if they are as good as Tokyo sushi, but I've been twice so far and pretty much loved the sushi rolls, the edamame, and the most delicious Kobe slider appetizer - YUM! The atmosphere is pretty cool and somewhat lively. And they have their own parking lot which is a bit of a luxury on north Western ave.

The back room is ideal for excellent sushi lunches without the crush of the crowd or the mixed seating of the main tables. The robota grill is also a solid choice for light sampling. Their sake menu is tops in the city by my count. Get the bubbly one in the pink bottle for an extra sweet treat.

Good restaurant. Typical Japanese Hibachi style cooking. Chef good but not that much in personality department. Other staff friendly and attentive. Bartender on duty the night we were there (Wed) was very good and made suggestions while waiting for our table. Had a discussion about Kobe "style" beef v. actual Kobe beef......... I always enjoy the "group" atmosphere when you are dining Hibachi style and "sharing" the counter with others. We were there with a congenial group. Also looked like the sushi was appealing to the eye; they said it was quite good as they enjoyed both styles of food.

I've been here several times and always had fun. The atmosphere is nice and the food is alright. It's one of those places where they cook the food right in front of you (if you're seated in the right spot). If you get a talented chef, this can be awesome. If you get one that is new, this could be extremely dangerous! Like I said, the food is alright. I'm spoiled now living in San Francisco, as the quality of Japanese food options here is much higher. However, this place is fun for a date night or dinner with the girls, and better than other options in OKC.

This place was great! I was very surprised! Food was so good and the volcano was amazing! ! Can't wait to come back here!! The staff was very friendly. I think we were very lucky to get there when it opened so wait was minimal.

I've had lunch at Musashi's at least 5 times now over the last few years. I love the sushi, but I have mixed feelings about the chicken, shrimp & beef items. It's always been good but never great. I honestly feel like I could make a stir fry at home in my wok that was just as good if not better...and I'm not Japanese! Again, I'm not saying this place isn't good but it seems like no matter what I order, everything tastes about the same. I guess that's because everything is fried together on the same workspace using the same sauce. The restaurant itself is nice & comfortable. Wait staff is always friendly. Maybe I should try dinner?

Without a doubt, one of our favorite restaurants in the OKC metro! You want atmosphere and fabulous food? Musashi's is it! You know what the Japanese steakhouse experience is; be entertained and have your food cooked right in front of you, but few Japanese steakhouses get it this right. The food is outstanding, and if you love sushi like we do, you'll be hard-pressed to find fresher, more delicious sushi than this. Add to that, the service is outstanding. I've had private parties here, as well as intimate date-nights with my wife, and regardless of the size of your party, and your needs, you'll receive top-notch service with a smile.

For some reason I had a craving for Hibachi last Friday night. Called this place third after the first two places were already booked. Musashi's could seat us within thirty minutes, so that was a good thing. Not even sure why I had a craving, because I never think these places are that great. The food was good, I'm just not sure it was worth the money though. We had a couple of sushi rolls and the family dinner (chicken, steak, shrimp). There was more than enough food for the two of us, but it just wasn't "excellent." I will say the service was great and our chef was entertaining. It was nice of them to squeeze us in on a busy Friday night. I think I was just expecting a little more for my money.

Interior of the restaurant is nice and fairly new although you can already tell there is some damage to walls and screens. The food wasn't the best. We started with some Edamame which was really really good. After that we did a few sushi rolls which were very fresh and a great way to start what we thought would be an amazing meal. While waiting for the chef we all ordered some clear soup and it was very good as well. The chef finally comes out and begins to prepare the fried rice. I looked at the rice and I wasn't your regular steamed white rice. Almost seemed like an instant chicken fried rice from a bag. I didn't wanna think negative and figured I'd try it, you never know might be amazing! But it wasn't, none of us ate it because it was really really bad. Everything else that followed was pretty bad too. The veggie mix they used wasn't very tasty and all the meat entrees were bland. Needless to say when we left there we weren't too happy. They need a lot of work, hopefully they'll change some stuff around.

Was a fun night with friends but the worst restaurant that I have been to in years. Lobster was tough, drinks were very weak if any alcohol in them at all, chef was not engaged-gave me the wrong dinner stating he had his mind on the next night number of guest, food turned cold fast after being placed on my plate and then my water glass was taken away, the staff began wiping off our table and a very stern hostess told us, in an uncaring tone, that the table was needed for another party. I would not waste my time or money on this restaurant again!

There really aren't many differences between all of the hibachi restaurants. One thing that I notice different about Musashi's is that it seems to be slightly upper scale than other hibachis I've been. Even when I do go to these kinds of places, I typically order sushi and edamame and eat off the plates of friends from their grilled meals. They always have too much so they usually don't mind sharing. You certainly get your moneys worth of food here though. A nice cut of steak, chicken or seafood, grilled veggies, rice and soup or salad come with an entree. The restaurant was very busy as it was Friday night but we had great service the whole time. I was pretty satisfied with my experience and would certainly return for some steak and shrimp next time.

Yes and amen. The pricy menu makes for an occasional date night, but my wife and I always leave full and happy. The portions are big enough to split and we've always had solid servers and chefs. We did have a rough experience sitting across from a loud bachelorette party boozed up and dressed to the nines, but you know... Also, please don't bring your young kids. There are other places to take fussy babies and toddlers than to a restaurant that's more than likely a couple's date night they've been saving for and anticipating for weeks.

Very nice place and usually you don't need to make reservations for just 2-4 people but a good recommendation of you plan on a big party. Establishment is very clean and spacious. Friendly waitstaff and cooks. Food is good, love the salad dressing. I'm must say this place is a hit and miss when it comes to having fair portions of meat (chicken, steak, shrimp) sometimes it varies 4 pieces at times other cooks 8 pieces. Nevertheless I would recommend.

I really enjoyed the sushi rolls I ordered: spicy calamari, Baja California rolls, and Spider roll. I took some leftovers home and they were still good the next day. On Wednesdays, they have a special: free roll of sushi of equal or lesser price with a purchase of a robata. The Yakitori chicken and beef robatas are a must try! They were bursting with flavor!! Miso soup was also very good. Service was lacking but the great food made up for it. The bar area is for 21 yrs and up only and they're pretty strict about it. I would definitely come back because prices matched food quality and and the restaurant was beautiful.

We were a party of five seated at the grill. It was a very busy night but we got reservations and were seated nearly immediately. I ordered the Samarai Special (Filet Mignon and Shrimp) fixed medium rare. Our cook was pretty awesome, put on a good show, kept our orders straight and cooked the food perfectly. I redeemed a Yelp coupon for a great dessert and they threw in another since there were 5 of us. Our drinks were never dry, we all left stuffed and very happy. I can't comment on the Sushi, none pic is had any but the steak, shrimp and chicken was great.
